About the Envi-Lien Research Report

The Envi-Lien Research Report identifies any environmental related liens, activity and land use restrictions, and institutional controls which have been filed on property  at the county recorder. Liens are often issued in response to an extensive environmental violation, cleanup, cost recovery, contamination left in place or other concern. Using the current owner’s name, parcel number, and county of a site, ERS can identify liens recorded at the County Recorder

Main Features of the Envi-Lien Research Report

  • The report includes research of all reasonably ascertainable land title records for any existing environmental liens, activity, and/or land use limitations on the subject site.
  • Copies of key documents are included in the report.
  •  ERS has access to Registries of Deeds and County Clerk’s Offices nationwide to provide the information you need.
